Great event put on by the Tino Rawa trust. http://www.tinorawatrust.co.nz

Debbie Lewis, last owner of Ngataki was there. Andrew Fagan was there.

South Sea Vagabonds has been reprinted. They sold out of the first 200 this weekend.

There will be more at Boat Books soon. http://www.boatbooks.co.nz

They even had Johnny Wray orange juice for sale!

I was surprised at the volume Ngatiki had, it was huge.

Probably pinched it from Swirly World which was tiny......

Another beautiful restoration by the Trust and Yachting Developments. Well done them.

I'm re reading the book for the umpteenth time , naturally.

What a crack up , some of the things he got up to. I'm up to the bit where the boat took off down the driveway and went through the stone wall, enough to bring tears. Talk about dry humour.

I've just finished the Andrew fagan book about swirly world heading down to auckland islands. I reckon he's got balls the size of coconuts and the patience of a saint. It would do my head in to go no faster than 5 knots for 2 months.

Particularly chilling that he was only 60 miles from andrew mcauley when he met his demise.

Great read.
