Crazyhorse 47
Nah, we need the wild west again. All carry 6 shooters and meet the bastards at high noon! (Solve the population problem too, create work for carpenters, grave diggers. Only downside will probably put the price of lead sinkers up).
Elenya 33
No. The requirement to register a jet ski exists in some regions and not in others. It contains no certification or licence for the owner or skipper and implies no level of competence. It is a method of identification .
harrytom 681
Why do jet skis need to be registered in Ak/waikato but no other vessel?? If I was to own a jet ski I would be protesting about registration, why should my choice of vessel be singled out?? mind you,how do you know I have actually put the right number on?? thefreerangekiwi 0
With a drop in fatalities like that of last year, not that things still can't always be improved but I wonder if the boating environment demands licencing and/or registration as the solution? https://www.maritimenz.govt.nz/public/news/media-releases-2019/20190111a.asp
