Megwyn 2
Only - is it sailing? I wonder what happened when the wave caught him? Did you see all the rubberneckers watching at the start of the vid? And I love the hasty get away by the cameraman
wheels 543
If the day was shortened wheels, would that not mean that the earth actually moved forward in its rotation? Doh!, yeah I mean it lengthened. I do I get to live longeror shorter???
Guest
So you mean I have to wait even longer for the next sail?? The worlds just knot fair.

John B 106
Somewhere in all the coverage over the last few days there's another video showing that guy pulling his boat up the 'beach'.
Megwyn 2
Looks to me like he is just sitting there waiting for the water to come back. But the light on the wet sand/water surface is hard to judge just how much water he may be in. But looking at the vid - it looks like there was no water, and then the wave came. At least he would have a great surf in
wheels 543
A similar thing happened to a guy in the Fiordland about 21-22 years ago in a really big Earthquake down there. He was sitting in a dinghy fishing when all the water drained away and he was sitting on the bottom. So he got out and started running. Then the water and the boat caught upto him and he jumped back in again.
