Guest
Zen's all tucked up safe and sound at Pine Harbour. I feel like a fraud. Well done to those that have carried on and either finished or are about to. Well done to those who made seamanlike decisions to run and hide. The very worst thing that could happen in this race is if we lost a life. Thank God Chris is ok, that could have been nasty, I'll be in Napier to welcome the survivors in. I reckon Rob and Sally on Coppelia are brilliant. Valium and Second Nature have done amazingly well. But the biggest ups must go to James and Thomas on Pepe. I confess that a lot of us were worried about their inexperience and the soundness of the notoriously fragile 930 to cope with the conditions. No complaints, no dramas, they just did what was necessary and they're nearly there. Well done men. Bet they're stuffed though.
