Guest
Still a few boats going not on the list. Add a few multis and it looks like a fleet of over 40. Not bad for so late in the season.
Guest
And Waireka doing it unofficially. Probably not allowed to enter as no lifelines etc, in spite of having won it numerous times in the 20's on line and handicap.
Deep Purple 512
Geez, I hope the forecast changes for you guys, it's looking like a shocker once again.
ballystick 72
Usually the predicted forecast at this stage is quite wrong, remembering the previous 2 Akld to Tga's and Coastals. There looks to be quite alot of frontal action which is a good sign anything can happen.
col j 0
its ok. we can tack the code 0. the other week we hoisted the tri sail for apparently the 2nd time in the boats history just to see if it still fitted. take any extreme. prefer something else.
Guest
My computer has it at 2 days 6 hrs for truxton. According to current weather models Surely if it says that now it will turn into an epic hell ride. Top speed of 5.3 knts around the mercs and f all breeze the whole way. Take a pillow for a nap and I think I'll put the speakers back in. Going to be a good race between the 34 - 36 fters again. Lots of good boats in that size lineing up. River rebel and Kaimai flyer will be ones to watch. Kaimai flyer has some seriously knowlegeable old sea dogs on board as does frenzy. Home territory and all.

Guest
looking heaps better today. 1 day 7hrs. looks like a long painfull light beat from the mercs to tauranga. at least its going to be 10knt variables and not dead calm. Although anything with east in it isn't flash heading that way. still hoping for a 15knt westerly. Fingers crossed.

Guest Rocket
What number shall we text updates to - I quite like the idea of pissing the workers off on a crisp autumn sail down a pretty nice bit of water....

Guest
From TYPBC Hi Everyone In case folks did not see the item on TV One Sports News last night about TeamVodafoneSailing and Wairiki it can be viewed on the web at the following address: http://tvnz.co.nz/one-news/video Select "Chapter 4" which will take you to the Sports News. Use the horizontal scroll bar to advance through toward the end of the Chapter. Please note that Wairiki is not an official entrant to the Race. Thanks!
Absolution 7
Looking at Metvuw this morning the forecast is getting better. There might actually be enough wind to get to Tauranga. Getting to Colville will be the hard part.
Guest
actually looks like a nice yacht now compared to previous forcasts. Should be a nice reach or lay down the bay of plenty after the mercs. Hope we can cook up breakfast behind the islands where its calm so the sausages and egss cook evenly and dont roll too much. Got pancakes for midnight raider. Prob see most of you at the carpark by channel island. Gonna be good.
