  1. "Interesting" race that one, anyone else notice... Early in the week Prada state that Ineos will definitely win one Prada race with small headsail in a breeze that is not freshening Prada are much faster on the wind And best of all look at Mr Spittal and MrBrunis reaction after the loss, have you ever and I mean ever seen Jimmy so happy after being beaten? Its just not in his DNA.....

  3. There are 2 spencer 28 om T/M which one? the round bilge or square,if square it will be tight with family,over grown stileto.I had the Sabre 30 and not a great cruising yacht but we had fun. Compass790 hard to tell from photos but a couple on the Web look roomy enough. Nova 28 a lot produced in ply but the one I saw om T/M is glass. Depending on family size ages going by T/M photos I would be looking at the Nova but then again at the Nova price you could get a D28. All comes down to maintaince,mechanical,sails etc

  4. Pulse charging doesn't work. Nor does adding additves. You may if you are lucky, get a short term gain. The best method is as follows. But firstly a warning. You are working with Acid that will eat clothing. So careful. Wear decent rubber gloves. Wear googles. Have a water hose on standby that you can douse yourself under should you splash any on bare skin. Place down a decent plastic ground sheet. Get a large plastic container that allows you enough room to safely tip the battery upside down. Tip out all the contents. Lots of black muck will come out. Then pour the Acid into a safe contai

  5. 1. The fuel dock at bayswater is all-tide 2. the fuel dock at Orakei is accessible all tide. 3. The whole outside of the Western pontoon at Orakei marina is for public pickup/dropoff too but it is very shallow. It would be good at high tide. There's a lack of cleats but there are a few rings to tie onto. The gate to that and the fuel dock (inside the end of the same pontoon) is locked at night but should be open in the daytime (the marina is required to provide public access to that pontoon so complain to security if it's locked). 4.
