  1. If you are serious talk to him. We bought our boat three years too early but were able to work out a deal that was good for both of us and had three years sailing we would have missed otherwise.

  12. After 53 years of sailing I know of one person who has used a flare in anger. It was ignored. He laughs about it now. Waste of time and money.
  13. Yep, no such thing as a perfect boat, and that is the cross I have to bear (and the cost of a haulout). But i do like creeping into little nooks and crannies where I can, maybe I need to sail to Norway or Sweden?
