splat 55
http://crew.org.nz/forum/index.php/topic/10671-oddball-front-hatch-size/ Pretty sure this is the previous owner Chris asking the same question? Anyone got any new ideas re weaver hatch ( Now Magnus/Vetus) oddball sizing? Don't really want to have to start cutting the front of the boat a part to replace with a "square hatch". Have had a look at Cule standard sizing and nothing seems to fit? Neither does there appear to be anything available via Vetus/Magnus in a standard size. Any guidance/thoughts appreciated. tuffyluffy 76
The Cule guys sorted me out with a non standard hatch years ago. Maybe call them or pop in rather than look at their website - they were the oracle of all things hatches when i dealt with them.
Sudden5869 17
I second the Cule guys... They did a custom size hatch to replace the 30 year old original. Perfect.
Dtwo 157
Why replace the hatch? You can get them re-glazed?
splat 55
Have a look in the top left hand corner of the image - frame is broken and bent - has been repaired before - entire seal along hinge edge is detached and hatch frame bent - sheet got under during a gybe when it shouldn't have. Fish 0
Cule did the same for us. price wasn't a great deal more than a standard one. Was about 9 years ago now (new hatch is still good, shut it before gybing... guess how I learnt that lesson)
Ex Machina 365
yep Cule are the mustard for NZ made hatches . Built me an odd 1990’s dimension hatch and said to bring it back if it ever leaks or breaks . Nice solid construction and looks good

Ah yes that'll do it!!
