ScottiE 174
Crikey - you mean I've been completely wasting my time for the last 18 months?!?! Clearly while I've been sanding, fairing etc - he's been working out at the gym and on the sun bed!
GregW 28
Its the nonchalance that staggers me. "Comparable with a $2000 boat you might find in a shop". As for the rudder..............................
mattm 98
You guys realise you have been pronouncing catameringue (like the whipped egg whites and sugar desert) wrong this whole time? On top of the great rudder, I also like his centerboard, if there was any lateral force, it would easy handle it. Does this remind any one else of Hotrod and the flyin Hawaian from sailing anarchy? His lee boards may have actually been a better design. There's a scary thought.
raz88 96
Hotrod never got his actually sailing though, right? I wonder if the use of catameringue is intentional and describes a catamaran with the fragility of a meringue...
Addem 95
Reminds me of the boats we tried to build as kids. We never thought of polystyrene and could never understand why the 4x2 we used would't float. We weren't sophisticated enough to understand displacement I suppose. funnily enough, we did know to wear life jackets tho.

Island Time 1,235
Yup. My old man used to get the sheet flattened by the roller at the closest road works, and use the canoe on the irrigation ponds...
