Kevin McCready 83
But how many are up in the islands now for the winter?
Fish 0
Or weiti you'd fit wouldn't you? He only just fits in the river, he's never going to fit on the hard stand, not to mention making a cradle big enough. Imagine trying to turn BP around with the tractor. You'd need a couple of lamp posts to extend the draw bar... Still, it would be interesting to price lifting out with a crane. Wouldn't be a small crane, and you'd need most of the hardstand clear. Better idea though would be a boat haulage trailer. Avoids all of the issues of the tractor and cradle.Just need to find somewhere long enough to park it. (or he could sell another house and pay for a travel lift at a commercial yard)
Myjane 40
Kevin , the boats I see missing I don't think would be in the islands
Black Panther 1,686
During the gfc it was notable the number of boats that were taken out of the water and stored elsewhere. Maybe our economy isn't in such good shape?
Deep Purple 517
No it's not, our growth is barely above the level of immigration
