Chewing Gum 17
Large ketch with Square topped main I saw out in the gulf Friday - looks impressive Any ideas on the name ? - powerful looking vessel and fairly new I imagine although traditional in hull shape with small pilot house and flush deck - green hull. No photo sorry.
chic014 0
Hetairos. Full carbon hull and full of modern tech despite the traditional looks. Rigs made in NZ. Recently got the square top upgrade.

Tubthumper 0
I worked on the Rigs near the beginning of my career, and was lucky enough to go out for a yacht end of last year. Amazing piece of kit. The crew love it because there's proper sailing to be had with lines everywhere, none of this furling main business. And the right shade of green in my opinion. Chewing Gum 17
Thanks for that - I see she is Westhaven as I rode over the harbour bridge just now.

John B 106
We saw it heading down to Fulaga when we were leaving last year, sailing the other way in other words. It was a sight to behold.

wal 27
How long's it been green? Was black (dark blue?) originally? Always been a cool looking boat
Terry B 71
She sailed past us a week and a half ago on the outside of Rakino - she had all the sails up. Spectacular. And can she move!! My mate got some good photos - but I was helming at the time. Not sure why she was out - she headed back in later in the day.
AJ Oliver 154
The larger the boats are, the less time they are sailed. Jeebus, but what a beauty.
