Fish 0
What happened to that British family who's son was killed in Tahiti and wanted to sell their boat? Did they bring it into NZ in the end?

Kevin McCready 83
Serves them right. They should know the rules before arriving. The arrogance of some yachties who think they are above the law is overweening.

erice 732
The Auckland broker, Conrad Gair, with whom the luxury yacht is listed said recently yachts that would traditionally sail here to be sold were not allowed in under current border restrictions, and New Zealand was missing out. might be able to tell from his listings https://www.36degrees.nz/
muzled 140
think it's this one init? Bloody beautiful, I was planning my lotto win on it just yesterday... https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/boats-marine/yachts/keeler/listing/2802700980?bof=d62L2pgW
Fogg 427
I thought it was the Discovery 55 (which is still offshore) not the Nissen

Its one thing the govt saying yes after making them jump through hoops and saying no. Its another thing actually sailing the boat from Tahiti and arriving in NZ. Esp with grief and criminal processes to deal with. Personally, I'm getting sick of hearing about f**king cricketers when there are far more deserving people we could be letting in, including NZ'ers with sick and dying relatives, whom can't get a place in MIQ. 1
Fish 0
This story shows a blue 17 m yacht "September AM". https://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/grieving-uk-family-stranded-on-yacht-refused-nz-entry-after-son-killed-in-speedboat-accident/3XF7JRON3STNIT4OXZQAV64QI4/ Edit: This is it, states location is Tahiti, which is a bit sh*t, that our govt mucked these people around. https://www.36degrees.nz/yacht-boat-sales-auckland-new-zealand/boat/discovery-
