Vorpal Blade 89
Happy to be challenged on the opinions voiced. In this case its not an opinion I would like to call you up on Mr Brucey, its fact.... Which of the following boats do you claim you were on during this regatta.... Tigre Borderline Exodus Taeping Dirty Deeds Lucifer Charleston Team Vodafone Sailing Triple 8 'cos we know its not TWU.... and as other crews all log in an confirm you were /or were not with them we may well indeed see you are not a multihull sailor at all but an asshole on the outside with too much opinion! Guest
What boat were you sailing on Brucey? Irrelevant! Play the ball not the man, discuss the issues not personalities. Sounds like you've got something to hide. I would also say that calling someone a cock as you have done in another post is playing the man, not the ball.

Yup one of those, but not Tigre or Boarderline as they didnt show the last day I think. Alot of people just keen to change the subject? Why isnt anyone challenging me on the issue or opinion proffered? Never mind they cant matter to you!
johnMi 2
I wasn't there, so what is it that the multi sailors did wrong? Whatever they did, and got away with is just fine. If I know I can intimidate another sailor on the start line and get away with it I'll do. If someone tries to intimidate me, I'll protest. That's what it's about, and that's why I love racing sailboats.
Marshy 30
Hey Brucey STFU. Back to the subject. Who is thinking about going north for the weekend? And whats the general plan?

Farrari 4
Was thinking of doing the night race up to Kawau on Friday night but the weather is looking decidedly dodgy at the moment.
Clipper 346
The metvuw forecats for saturday is looking miserable. I'm now thinking I might hang around home and do the anniversary race on the harbour. Good way to get an up close look, albeit a brief one, at the new AC45. but will watch the forecasts and see what it looks like later in the week.
Tim C 23
Hi All, Up till a few years ago I organised everything at the Mahurangi end so the Multihulls could have a finish boat at Mahu, do the race on the Saturday, then an informal race to Kawau. This typically ended up in the bestest raft ups at Bon Accord. At the time the fleet could race back to Auckland via the 'Squadron race. With the BoI regatta clashing (till this year) the event has diminished. However it would be great to simply all get together at Mahurangi and Kawau over the weekend, for socialising if not racing. For those that don't know, the Saturday has one of the best Classic Yacht regattas and is a great spectacle. For sure Pulse (myself) and Crowded House will be there. So fill the chilly bin and head to Kawau for the weekend. For those in the raft up at New Year, I have tweaked the onboard entertainment system further... Let me know if I can do anything to assist at this end. Cheers Tim
Vorpal Blade 89
Good to hear you back online Tim, the pix from the Pulse big screen New years eve fiasco are a bit vague but enough to be incriminating, Im sure we will do something with them at some stage. Presently the weather isnt looking ideal for our annual "raft up and see how many other people can be offended" get together but we remain loaded and standing by in case the weather improves. Currently the Jimmy Buffet concert at the Seafood fest on Saturday nite in the Viaduct Basin is looking like a good option, maybe we could move the raft up there! ...wasted away again in margaritaville.... plenty of other lyrics spring to mind, most of them inappropriate! Grinna 2
The Jimmy Buffett concert isn't part of the seafood festival, its at the same location but tickets are completely separate. Good luck trying to get into the concert with a seafood festival ticket. Squid, try Eventfinder for details on the JB concert. First NZ concert in 20 years, tickets are $132 each from memory. http://www.eventfinder.co.nz/2011/jan/a ... my-buffett
