Hi All,

You can now enter the 2011 SSANZ B&G Simrad Series

There is a slight delay on the usual printed material...but it's all online now anyway.

Warning:

Read the NOR + SI's carefully as there are a few changes.

Some points to note include:

* Entry closes earlier (can no longer enter at briefing)

* Starts in the Northern Leading Area

* Changes to Longhaul division splits

* Heavy weather course option has changed to "unfavourable weather

course"

* Tweeks to courses

So we do listen...

Anyway La Nina is fading so we are going to have great weather for racing this year

Nice course tweaks especially shorty 100 C2, I do like the look of that puppy.

Had a quick skim and I'm giving the SSANZ team a  for the tweaks.

Nice work SSANZ and team. It all looks good! Mercenary is in. Just gotta do the entry thing and we are there! Cant wait... And nice work on moving the start, and with the new course layouts it looks awesome!

That all together with the new PHRF application setup should make for some good racing without all the crap aye!

I've gone Small Boat.

First time out for a 2 handed longish race- so will go for the small boat short route.

Am looking forward to it! :sailor:

Everyone receiving the NOR/Sailing instructions OK ?

Had one person with a problem but I think that maybe operator error.

I downloaded them OK. My entry is in without any dramas.

I do like the look of the shorthaul 100 C2 course. Lots of interesting tactical choices.

Seem to remember going this way around many years ago in the good ole days when we did the shorthaul in Crikey Dick. Cool Change will be there.

Another new development...

A Hanse cruising division on the Smallboat Course.

Tony promises they will have lots of entries. A great introduction for a lot of sailors new to Shorthanded Racing
