Guest
We have had one whole sail of practice in 8 kn of wind, shouldn't be a problem. Smithy is back just before the race, expect to see us out on the harbour a bit that week.
Guest
Knotme... do you think we should find another prize for the person who captures the best #$%@ up of a certain Ross 40 on either video or camera ??? That would be just mean and verging on nasty. So absolutely a big Yes in that case Don't forget Story Tellers, Yarn Weavers and Sweet talkers. Good stories about your race count, especially those with detail of cock-ups, hot chicks (photo bonus opportunity there as well probably ) and just what was roasted along with the chicken. The Series has some great Sponsors for the racing side of it, ATL with SIMRAD being a stand out obviously, so this loot is for the off the water and/or what's actually happening onboard while racing for a fun addition to the vast array of goodies up for grabs all ready. All boats have an equal chance so get into it and go hard.
col j 0
were not going to purposely cock up to get this. and if we do its probably going to not be caught on camera and will be epic (like that bottom mark rounding in the 727 nationals. will try and catch some other peoples chineses during the 35 knot runs. PaulR 3
oh goodie goodie goodie infiltrator is entered. if they go mast head chute they may be in the running for a chinese. they done some fully crewed. they will probably still part our cheeks on line though. I resent that. There was only 3 broaches, one on each leg, and then only one really major one. It was hard work climbing up from the guy winch to the very high leeward side, but I think we still beat you. did we knot?????
col j 0
ye did indeed beat us. but you had 6 onboard (2 rather heavy looking) and a mh chute on a bigger, lighter boat. we had 3 with a piddly little class legal kite. that weight on the rail made you go like a train uphill yet you were the ones who chickened out of the last race. Guest
hmmmmm don't count us out of the running for a good un...... Managed one of the best hand brake turns ever just off the PCC start the other week! Relatively little mocking though for what I thought was a stella effort.
