Should be good fun.

I heard from Steve though that there currently only 4 entries.

Forecast looks like it should be around 15 knots.

As usual back to Swashies after the race which could well be the best part!

Also anyone in the vicinity who doesn't mind lending me a hand to get on and off the marina?

Excited about being able to crank the stereo LOUD as I don't have any crew to yell at.

Stereo! bugger ... knew there was something I forgot to add!

If I have a mainsail I'll be out. Seems fitting as I was on my own the last time I had a sail on Tigre...

I have no jibs apart from a borrowed yankee so I'll have to have a word in the handicappers ear.

We don't have a spot at Westhaven and hope to come home soon so if anyone has a mooring or marina idea for us at Westhaven that would be great.

The boat is at Bayswater on G near the grave yard of retired fishing boats.

But we hope to get out on Sunday arvo. If the 1986 Evinrude works again. Its had a hard life.

Could be, although I don't see any pictures of a rifle on the sides? Perhaps FD & TW would like to grace the WBC short handed races this summer? If so there could be upwards of 5 rafts racing up there in the picturesque Hauraki Gulf.

Getting a bit windy out there now ... 28knots at Bean Rock... 11.35

Anyway, took Tigre out before the wind warning to check the re-cut on the main... Just in time for the guys heading out for the race... it rained!

Was a great run today, definitely not the 30 knots forecast in my bit of water.

It was a bit lumpy going down to Rakino, but beautiful flat water, if a bit gusty all the way to Browns, great on the nose sailing.

Only took me just over 3 hrs
