Guest
So- as it happens I now own outright a R930 formally known as "Rockweld". In my opinion I can't say it's been a fun process to get here...But I won't go into that....A few people here are aware of some of the crap I've had to deal with. Anyway..... the boat needs a new name to remove any stigma attached by the former owner. (along with a Birthday to sort the various maintenance issues out! (or lack of) ). So I'll put it out there..... who's got some ideas. I'll put a bottle of rum up if anyone comes up with a keeper! I've been struggling for a week or so and not locked onto anything.....so HELP! PaulR 3
Congratulations. Any particular themes, interests or attitudes you have that could help formulate a new name with some extra "hint" or meaning? ? ? What have you rejected already? What about something like . . . . to inspire you Rockweld => "Tightweld" "Slagheap" but I'd reject that also

Guest
MIG, TIG, ARC or gas Breaking wind would be more appropriiate if were talking about gas....>Want to get well away from anything relating to the prior owner.
Guest
Buy a 'Best Bets" There's a name in there for every boat. Could be something in that advice!
Guest
A***oles Fill in the blanks Larf- A few names similar to that have allready been suggested......I'm trying to remove reflection on the boats history. Incidentally...apparently the boat was called "Rainbow Reflection" at launch..... but I'm sure that name doesn't need to be reinstated so long as the appropriate voodoo rituals are conducted. Grinna 2
Well there's a name .... "Voodoo Ritual" I've always thought the name "Squid Vicious" was quite good, but never had occasion to use it.
John B 106
I always thought Dive was a good name.... or EVID.. whatever.

Megwyn 2
ExToles I would steer clear of any rainbows FasToles What does 'Toles' mean anyway - is it the name of an old boat? As PaulR asked - what are the names you have discarded? I have a name for a trimaran - but am not allowed to rename our current vessel - that is made from our names. Mojito - that is a personal fav. And perfect with Mt Gay If you want, you could pm family initials and or names, or whatever and I can see if I can work some letter magic? Do you want 'Ross' in the name? Give us some clues! Voodoo Ritual has a great ring to it

wheels 543
Glad to hear you got it sorted. I started looking at things related to Toles on the net. But it didn't lead to much. So I started playing with similar sounding words. Then I tried Tolles and that also led to words related to tolls. Here's a little list. Tolestory Pay the Toll or Pays a Toll Toles Road Takes a Toll or Takes a Tole or Tollway or Toleway or Toles Way Bell Toles Toles Bill Avoiding Toles Expressway Infringement Road Toll Road Kill Bailout Bailed out Payup Payout
