I reckon briquettes would work fine . Getting the buggers going would be the issue . A charcoal chimney gets them honking quickly but tipping them from the chimney into a micro burner on a small boat would take some skill !

Austin Princess is my favourite ugly car of all time , the poor buggers getting dropped at school in those cars couldn’t hide for all the massive windows

Yep me too …thanks to all who gave valuable feedback in the “other” window thread !

Installed a heatport/heaterX 2KW in the end bedroom of our house a month ago …it’s been running every night since with no issues . And the last 4 nights we have had atrocious weather ! . At nearly 250m above sea level and on an exposed east facing ridge we really get snotted . Heater is “semi outside “ under verandah roof and handled 50 knot gusts and damp mist no problem . the only installation issue I had was sorting a 12v supply from 240V . after several failed attempts with various adaptors I bought a LED driver with adjustable voltage , Driver is 11-14V DC and 10 Amps . af

Yeah pass that one over , not the best person to buy your first boat off ….ask nathan on the weekend about his experience selling a boat to him

Awesome thanks IT , will have a search

Any recommendations for a one step acrylic window bonding agent ? I used sika on my last boat, It was a 3 step process and the 3 different components cost twice as much as the two new windows . It was also a pain in the ass process and the boat had a toxic stink for about 6 months . there are no mechanical fastenings so it needs to be primarily a bonding agent with waterproof properties

Well done , it looks mint . Will be doing almost the same but with foam and tube and it will be removable so it doesn’t go through back window of the car when it’s on the trailer -
Wondering if no seatrials is because the keel might fall off ? Or whoever is owed money has seized it and don’t want it going in the water ? …simple search shows it’s owned by a brokerage but not the broker selling it .

Still good for snapper and the area was good for for several species of game fish just a month ago

About the same here. but the sea state is incredible . I’ve been watching that reef through the telescope . The waves are at least 5 metres with a 2 metre cross chop from the south . The spray when they break would be blowing at least 80ft up in the air

Who made your prod ?? Planning something very similar for an E7.8 -
The reef off taiharuru head has just started breaking ….in the 15 years I’ve been here I’ve never seen it break . Shallowest pin out there is 16 metres ! My guesstimate is it must be about 15 foot ….surfers 15 foot not tape measure 15 foot 😂 . I’ve seen an old paper chart with a warning to “avoid in rough weather” over that reef

Plenty of north facing corners in coro and northland if you are prepared to drive
-
Or even the corner of the shipping channel off Busby head , that’s a sight to behold when it breaks
