Unfortunately the formulation has changed since my last application (3 years) its thinner not nearly as porridge as it used to be and goes on almost glossy -never before seen that, I too was v happy with the green that slowly went bluish in the past. Yes low salinity and various street run off polution does help (5 years in Milford creek between applications) Many years ago I witnessed people mixing up there own brews- the issue that struck me at the time was, and still is, many of their 'ingredients' were rather more toxic to humans than barnacles and they were splashing it about with gay ab

Certainly as noticed this weekend Altex No 5 has been watered down lately , having been a very happy customer for 25 plus years I seem to have slime after two months not had that before.....

Ac38 seems to be in trouble, challenger of record melting into acrimonious court cases , no venue, no rules yet , unless you are a billionaire trying to offload large amounts -who will be a sponsor of such an event ? or potential team ? Yes I know the hoards from Auckland that went enjoyed the event but that could have been anywhere , and it really has no connection to the yacht racing that most of us regularly engage in.

Superb real upcycling, I turned some of my Navy Whaler oars into Nutshell spars (bought at the auction on Torpedo Bay wharf many moons ago)

I just empty a full kettle of fresh through the system when i come home pump it through then close the valves, of course this wont stop the anaerobic smell from the intake side from the first two pumps next time away.

It was fairly frisky on monday off Takapuna and apart from some nose ins they all appeared to be handling it, I dont believe they are as precious about the weather as the AC lot.

They are practice races Thursday and Friday, I would have thought that there is plenty of room down the Bayswater Stanley point side for a ferry lane ,but can understand them closing the Westhaven entrance on Saturday/ Sunday in the afternoons.
