    Saturday, spent some time playing with my new toy and Sunday assembled the crew for a working bee on Sundreamer. All ready for Coastal. We were going to go for a sail but 30+ knots wasn't sitting well with the 10 on the Richter Scale hangover from the crew dinner the night before

    You arrange s GST registered broker to purchase the boat then export it to you. You slip him a grand for his trouble. Simple

    When it was sold out of OZ or NZ the owner claimed back the GST or should of if he had used his noodle.

    5% Duty plus 15% GST on the value of the boat including freight costs. Doesn't matter how old it is, however if it was originally built in NZ you don't get charged the 5% duty. You still get charged GST though

    Clutching at straws I think unless there is a reason to link the two stories that the police are keeping quiet. There has been no sight of the pair for 8 months. Nobody knows where they are or even if they are in the country. I'd think the boat has either headed straight out or straight down. Very unlikely to be sitting up the coast somewhere, very distinctive and too many eyes

    I'm in if I can figure out a way to route the vent pipe out of the boat. I'll assemble some experts this weekend at Kawau to consider.

    Yeah they are a great boat. I've known a few people with them over the years. Met a guy recently that had one. While I can't recall who (old age), they all loved them so I'd imagine they are very hard to source.

    Partly because your angle of heel flying 2 hulls meant considerable downforce from your rig. Relieved if you cant.
