Wouldn’t be a Ross boat by any chance?....

Any chance?? Every chance ;)

Looking like a good breeze to kick off the Long Haul in a few hours.

If any players are reading this don't forget and/or be aware I will blow up the start the moment it goes bad for any reason, even inside the last minute if it's that bad or will lead to 'unfair'. But do not wonder off as I will reset and restart the sequence very very quickly.

I find boat will quickly wonder off or get a bit too relaxed the moment a AP goes up, to do that when I'm banging guns/popping flags is a mistake.

I bet the fleet will be enjoying some light after a long soggy night.

Two boats now around the top mark and have taken off on the reaching leg
The rest of the fleet are between the Hen and Knights

Here’s hoping the wind holds in and they leave some for the Short and Cruz fleets tonight

Is there a tracker running?

https://forecast.pre...ace/SSANZTriple

Note that is off phones so boats out wide could look like they are playing hide n seek.

I’ve got Miss S abeam of the Mokes via AIS
But we won’t get much from the tracker until they get reception off the barrier
There’s a 10kt westerly at the Mokes and a 4kt easterly at Tutukaka so I’d say some of the back markers will be suffering about now.

Zero wind at the poor knights. We have been flopping around for a couple of hours now.
