Ports Expansion

Nah Bundy is OK. We once got given a bottle of rum that was absolutely undrinkable. I reckon it would take paint off. Apparently cost $4, but we used it for killing fish - one capful in their gills, lights out!

As someone who has sat in 40+ degree heat and enjoyed an ice cold Bundy and Coke I have to disagree.

As someone who sat at the Bundy factory in hot with a iced Bundy and dry, I'd have to disagree to your disagree and go with Clipper on this one :D

It did get better with Bundy Ginger Beer in the rum...... but not that much better.

Sorry to interrupt the salacious rum talk :-D

Auckland Council, Mr Len Brown, has made a statement that they (Auckland Council) wont appeal the High Court decision saying the resource consents were wrong.

What fascinates me about this statement is, all along, he was saying its nothing to do with Council, its all POAL, and Council can't control what they do - its all quote "out of his hands" - funny change of tune all of a sudden.

And now for the clanger - Ports of Auckland have not said they wont appeal the decision.

This looks like  PR snow job - Ports of Auckland are the only body that can appeal the decision, but Mr Len Brown comes out and says Council wont appeal - distraction, smoke, mirrors...

Note photo in article of work that is occurring at the moment extending wharfs into the harbour.

PS, isn't Appletons the only rum worth drinking?

Its funny you mention that Chloe, I do have a fondness for Havana Club, developed on a trip in Cuba (that also involved sailing). It didn't seem to matter how many people were in the round, the barman would always use a whole bottle regardless of the number of glasses...

This looks like  PR snow job -

I suppose one small glimmer of good news in it all is that with the huge number of spin doctors our rates support it's nice to see they are doing something.

The other is I found 2 bots of Mt Gay Old in my wine cellar. Now some Bundy Ginger beer and yum yum O'clock it'll be.

I was sort of grateful Clipper, I didn't have to pay for those drinks..... yes plural, as evil as it was I did have to thoroughly check just to make sure :D
