Hand-held bilge pump

Either of them will do it, but won’t last too long as cheaply made

I use one of these, not because it’s any better but because I can put it in tricky spots and hit the button

Simple and cheap, as long as you can reach, It reminds me that the Americans spent millions creating an ink pen that would write in space. the Russians took pencils! keep it simple.

I've used something similar in a big dinghy, worked well but I needed a longer hose to actually get the water out of the boat,

We use one like the second one. Works well until you suck up some sand (which is always in the dinghy) and then it becomes very stiff and hard to use. I can open it up and clean off the sand pretty easy when it happens, so it's not too bad.
