aardvarkash10 1,072
We use an oil extractor pump. Designed for pulling oil out of lawnmowers and the like. The tank holds about 1.5 litres. I think it came from Bunnings, about $20.

Shackleton 2
For a manual backup I use one of these with success to remove the water in my bilge my electric bilge pump cannot pick up. https://www.smartmarine.co.nz/product/26698/45cm-big-shot-water-gun-bazooka

Works well until you suck up some sand (which is always in the dinghy) and then it becomes very stiff and hard to use. I can open it up and clean off the sand pretty easy when it happens, so it's not too bad.
