Murky 1 Posted April 29, 2011 Share Posted April 29, 2011 With the mast step, I added 1 x CUD450g and 1 x CDB400g to the inside skin of the hull, lapping up onto the bulk fronts and main bulkhead, then 3 x 20mm ply frames going across, then taped the frames in with 2 x CDB400g and CUD capping on top of the frames. Then a 50x50mm x 3.5mm wall carbon box section with cedar core between the main bulkhead and the keel, on top of the celson. Taped that in with 1 x CDB 400g. That's what's in the picture. Guest Posted April 29, 2011 Share Posted April 29, 2011 Minis are CC compliant. Mini = 6.5mts, CC min length = 6.5mts. RNI, RNZ = don't see why knot. They are built to race across the Atlantic. Guest Posted June 6, 2011 Share Posted June 6, 2011 yep a good tent is a must. one of the removable end doors blew out in the big blow the other day and it also developed a series of small leaks along the top, nothing major though. had a pretty stressful past month trying to settle into a new job so knot too much done. spent most of today in a grinding suit though and there's probably another 2hrs of it to go.
