Murky 1
He was probably off to get another ladder to change the masthead light... You really need a beer crate, a phone book and a swivelling office chair to get that final bit of height.
Guest Rocket
Looks impressive to me - so long as his ladder feet are well planted and his knots are all good I think he has done well...

DrWatson 378
Awesome! But i think for proper OSH approval he has to tie the top of the ladder to the mast before he climbs it...
Guest
Bit of an opportunity for supplying a rope ladder there Knot Me!
Guest
saw that up in Denarau one year, was going to see if i could help the guy, but he was actually hauling the lader up on the main halyard, and then attaching the second ladder the bottom legs of which were not on the deck, he tied the ladder off to the mast with a couple of sail ties in a few places.. Guest
Errrrr... BooBoo, those ladders are only rated to one hundy kilos, so who were you planning on sending up there? Obviously not yourself. Or were you thinking; 2 x one hundy kilo ladders = two hundy weight limit?

B00B00 310
O'reilly, even if the ladders could handle it, I doubt there would be enough stability to hold me up there! You need to focus on you sailboat tournament anyway mate.
