Hmmmm an interesting thread with some passionate views. Here’s my two cents worth. First cent. Overfishing in the Hauraki Gulf is symptomatic of the global overfishing problem. In 1968 Andy Warhol said "In the future, everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes" I think that future is well and truly upon us. Some of my favorites from the last few years. Rogue Anchored in Menora near the start of our voyage from France to NZ and Motorboat II in the 2019 coastal classic. Poles apart in what they represent but both highlights in my life.

Air NZ and Unilever are not lead and staffed by career bureaucrats. Promotion from industry avoids that too. Real world experience, frowned upon by current government, has benefits in management but conflicts too much with the dream.
