Nice one, when is the tactics plug in due to become available?
-
There's also a polar plug in that can help build Polaris by recording data found it on the plug ins page will see how it goes.
-
There will be some serious contenders for that one judging by past efforts.
-
No worries, will update here when the listing goes up. Great boats pretty hard to beat in the 26ft range roomy fast and seaworthy.
-
Have been giving the interior paintwork a tidy up and there is a touchup on the front to do where we fitted the prodder tube. Another week or so. If you are interested you are welcome to have a look or ask questions. Pm me if need be or phone 021552010 Wil

New record by Vodaboat, looks like a mono record for Giacomo as well. Miss Scarlet must have issues been down to 5 knots for a while now. Itchy feet heading for Norfolk at the moment? Maybe setting up for the bad weather but gave away a lot of miles. Huapane and Blink having a good battle but Blink slowly clearing out by the looks. Must be nice and warm up there by now.

Awesome nearly there. -
Rebuild thread here, http://crew.org.nz/forum/index.php/topic/8328-rocky-rebuild/ has been in continual development since the relaunch. Pretty much new everything.

Will create a listing on TM soon but Rocky is going up for sale as we are moving to a bigger race boat. Fully rebuilt/refitted and painted in 2013. New stainless work, rig and standing rigging replaced 2013, Retractable prod and Gennakers added, new carbon rudder, new North Sails 2015 plus all sorts of go fast stuff. Possibly one of the Fastest SR's and definitely one of the lightest (Cedar Core composite construction). Looking for offers around 29k Also a marina berth in Tauranga up for grabs.

SKY have bought the rights to broadcast in NZ so that is the only legit way to watch. There will be an online dodgy site to watch it on somewhere so will post if I find one.

Put a pledge in. There are more expensive t-shirts out there without helping someone out. -
Was replying to the OP Terry not your post. I personally prefer peace and quiet most of the time, some people like a good party everyone is different.

Can relate to the sentiment, but (as BooBoo said) I wouldn't choose Issy Bay for a quiet night out. Definitely far better to politely ask or move than to sit there stressing all night tho.

I would jump on that offer from the Meister there are plenty of Guys around Tga who could do the fabrication for you but all the cut files and fairing boards are invaluable. As for spraying I know someone who has a pressure pot and compressor you could probably borrow for a box of Beer or two, It is the one I used for Rocky I sprayed it myself and am pretty happy with the finish it's the second boat I have sprayed the first being a trailer yacht, good prep is the key. We got some cheap paint left over from another job for the topcoats so that wasn't that expensive but all the undercoats\

I use satin bathroom paint on the ceiling in the berths and other potentially damp areas, results in zero mildew or mould even after long stints aboard. The rest of the boat is marine gloss.

Conrad Colman, good on him. More here http://www.vendeeglobe.org/en/news/article/15085/conrad-colman-the-first-new-zealander-to-take-part-in-the-vendee-globe.html

What Kevin said.

Would be good if YNZ could take this over for NZ boats, most are already registered there anyway.
-
Spent a weekend at the Mercs fantastic trip up and back as well as a couple of nice races around the Island. Pulled an all nighter bolting everything back on the boat including completely stripping and cleaning a few winches that had almost seized. Finnaly finished working at 5am and left at 7am. Was definitely worth it.

Transom Mod,
-
The 1/4 berths are very big, both doubles. She's a beamy beast.
-
I wouldn't bother with synthetics personally, I'd go for cheaper stuff and change it more often. Pretty much any brand that conforms with the manufacturers specs would be fine.

Long overdue cockpit makeover for Berenice, next is the transom. From this to this
