LBD 160
Has everyone been happy with this product? Is there now any stock in NZ?

It is the best. Only drawback is the cost to ship it over here is rather wallet lightening... https://shop.sailboatowners.com/prod.php?55717/Rod+Collins+and+apos;+Bed-It+Tape
Brawr 0
I've used this product for rebedding windows and sealing solar panel fittings on my motorhome and it's worked well. Proper blu-tak texture stuff that you can ball up or make up little rings with. Didn't think the price was too bad, and it's NZ based so shipping is quick. Might do if anyone just needs a roll quick-ish. https://www.wyatt.co.nz/product/x_sku/PF2020.html

Island Time 1,278
Or you can by the original from here - but not NZ - https://bed-it.com/
Luigi Vercotti 7
I have a spare roll of this you can have for $20 + postage. https://www.theboatwarehouse.com.au/boat-building-maintenance/tapes/butyl-tape-white-10m-x-20mm-roll/
LBD 160
Thanks guys... pms sent. I will be using the product to seal 10mm micarta strips between the SS Jib/Genoa track and the glassed over timber deck.
Island Time 1,278
I've just applied to be a reseller of Bed-it for NZ, now that it's available again. I'll update once it's done. Matt
Ex Machina 381
Love the stuff ! I’ve saved a bit of coin on silicone since I got a roll .
LBD 160
So guys... in the case of stanchion feet, say 100 x 100 x 3mm thick... Would you fully layer the pad or would you run a bead of tape around the edge of the pad only?
Island Time 1,278
as long as you go completely around the base bolts, a bead around the outside will do...
