Nah, whole point of me using my big steel boat to find as many uncharted rocks as possible was so that you don't need one. Less scratches on the keel than I thought there might have been too !!1 point

She’s a Ross 490, with some mods.. prod, small bulb on the centre board (hence the extra high axle clearance).1 point

This weekend.... custom beach trolley for the “Footprint” - made with three and a half recycled windsurfer masts. Will ultimately have some very big squishy wheels attached for dragging up the beach.1 point

Fitted the prod last night and tried it out today in first spring series race today . It has transformed the boat downwind and we have gone from a 40 something masthead m2 spinnaker to a 100m2 gennaker . boat felt great , heaps more power and speed and so nice to be apparent wind sailing again after 6 months of spinnakers only .1 point

This is the only pic I have at the moment . Its a bit different to a MK1 7.8 . The sheer line is straight and it has a bit less rocker I think . Also the rig is 1 metre taller than standard .1 point

Some of my favorites from the last few years. Rogue Anchored in Menora near the start of our voyage from France to NZ and Motorboat II in the 2019 coastal classic. Poles apart in what they represent but both highlights in my life.1 point
