I think that if a boat has decent mooring cleats and serviced through hulls nobody has any right to complain.
I also hate the idea of an insurance company telling me what I can and can't do. e.g. leaving the pacific after October. That's my decision.

I went to Fiji and back using an android phone and mariner mx primarily and navionics occasionally. Had a tablet as well but phone was more convenient.
Ok, might need a professional opinion to know for sure, but the rust you see could be from 50 yrs of condensation. They weep a lot, if anyone knows a solution to that one I'd love to hear it.

For me the main purpose of going electric is to not have an ice engine. I'm happy to go a bit slower and 60 NM is plenty of range. Recharging off grid is an issue, but the technology continues to improve.
