may need a retighten once in the water,at the moment(if out of the water) the hull is resting on the keel,once in the water keel will be hanging with no weight so may need a retighten. The person who brought my wreck has removed the keel and replaced bolts 1 4 5 6 7 8 2 and 3 is a s/s u bolt fitted at pouring and this is the bolt that broke a nut off,did suggest drilling a new bolt alongside but seems happy to refit with by cutting thread off and welding new one on.

You would be amazed at the amount of poos discharged every time it rains in Auckland,the overflow pipe from sunset rd sewage works runs about 1/2 km out to sea from mairangi bay.(ever wondered when sailing in that area you come across dirty water in that area?)there is not one beach I would swim at in the inner gulf. Not just sewage but all the heavy metals/waste oil/sediment from storm water. We have registration for jetskis,why?? it is only time before we will all need a licence/registration. If you have a high enough elbow in the exhaust water shouldnt be able to back flow,we had a valve on the outlet for the just incase scenario. Trick was to remember to open it before starting.
