darkside 61
Seen in Qingdao yesterday. Perhaps the beam was a little modest so they felt the need to add a fin keel. And a bulb. Then I guess the drag was quite high so add a couple of outboards to help out the saildrive. Fast boats have coffee grinders so lets have one of those as well. It's not a big yacht so put it on the foredeck.
Crazyhorse 47
A yacht with two bows cut off other keelers bolted on the side...aaaaaaaaaaarrrrrggggly!

mattm 98
Would the real story be that it was a monohull, wife didn’t like healing so add hulls, then it won’t turn under motor well, so as outboards to get thrust out wide where it’s needed. Wife wanted to go boating ‘to do that scene from titanic’ so add the bow... thing. I can’t explain the coffee grinder. So angry at wife for making him wreck good boat, he made a reason to tell her she has to stay on the foredeck? Or bow man complains hoist is too slow, skipper says ‘there, do it your f’ing self, if your so smart’ bow man has done a perfect job ever since (he is a bow man after all). Shame, looks like the original mono was a good looking boat.
MarkMT 68
Any guesses as to what it was?
darkside 61
It's probably a good thing it wouldn't tack with those fat armas as the grinder would disappear pretty quickly. The three engines are a mystery. No idea about the shark but this is the location of Chinas chart datum. There were statues of navigators like Magellan, Zheng He and Cook. GregW 28
Looks like the worst of both worlds.
Black Panther 1,599
A few weeks ago there was a small trailer sailor anchored at Swann beach with what looked like hine made foils. My assessment was it would hit 4.5kn with no foils but 2kn with the foils.

Black Panther 1,599
That looks like the mk 1 version. The one I saw was similar but more "permanent ". What is it?
Fish 0
What is it? It is clearly a brilliant idea by a genius that is well ahead of its time. Everyone else clearly are just too ignorant to appreciate the artistic form and function at play here. Regardless if a few more iterations are required to realise the true potential of the, err, clippy on-ee foilee drying out leggee thingees
Priscilla II 396
Scary part of that pic is the unused plywood sheets parked in the cockpit. Me thinks there is more to come. Impressive bridle though.

MarkMT 68
At least someone is tinkering and will hopefully learn something from the experience without breaking the bank... not enough of that these days. Some mistakes are obvious to some of us without having to make them. Others have to make them to get the message.
