I’m not a conspiracy theorist normally but it does make you wonder, given how easily Prada outpointed INEOS in the last race yesterday but didn’t on Saturday.

I promised I would share some photos so here they are. New exhaust manifold fabricated from Schedule 40 pipe and the exhaust pipe and mixing elbow. Fitted it all up and tried it out on Saturday and it works perfectly.

Ducati vs Triumph, Ferrari vs Lotus, Sophia Loren vs Elizabeth Taylor. And now Luna Rosa vs Ineos. Well Done LRPP, roll on the actual AC Lets see how a Ducati goes against a Brtten instead of the British.

LR penalty was because they were OCS, not because they luffed. The 90 degree rule is for bearing away. Not luffing. And only applies if the port tack boat is dipping you.

Yes i was interested but didnt really know anything about the boat or the price so i didnt follow up. Thankyou for you offer of a sail. There is a real sense of "cant be bothered" from sellers when trying to see boats. Im guessing there are so many tyre kickers and time wasters that sellers get fed up with it. Many sellers either didnt respond at all or wouldnt make a time to view. But anyway, i want to get a professional rigger to look over the standing rigging, a marine electrician to look at the wiring so if anyone has any recommendations that would be great. Cheers Mike

Thanks everyone for comments. I got to that point of being more interested in sailing than looking so i made an offer on a different boat twice my original budget and so looks like i am about to move up to a keeler.

"Interesting" race that one, anyone else notice... Early in the week Prada state that Ineos will definitely win one Prada race with small headsail in a breeze that is not freshening Prada are much faster on the wind And best of all look at Mr Spittal and MrBrunis reaction after the loss, have you ever and I mean ever seen Jimmy so happy after being beaten? Its just not in his DNA.....

It was called Tearaway. Belonged to Dave Duke. All the crew were young and impecunious. We had a ball. 1978 i think.
