You can get zinc enamel spray paints that would be an good application here. Far easier and cheaper than doing a re-galv. If it is only sitting in a locker it will work fine. Will stop it rusting. As soon as it drags through some sand and shell the zinc paint will come off, but if it is your spare, you can worry about that then. Will stop it rusting in a locker.1 point

I'm picking that the total amount of material is not enough to make either weight or price material overall. I'd use just one so you can match the tone throughout. If you are painting, just choose the best grade (no voids, no fill).1 point

"where has the RAYC gone" Are we serious, perhaps you should do some research such as why the areas set aside for boat storage are now a restaurant and restaurant storage. Maybe that's why the RAYC wants some boat storage now.1 point

Awesome event. Shithouse organisers. All boats should, as a condition of entry, have to stay in the water for 8 weeks prior to start without being hauled and /or cleaned in any fashion. Even if I could I would not enter or support the organiser by entering.1 point

That is very sad, and the same person who was pushing for the closure of hardstand is the owner, his father who commissioned those last built boats would be appalled .0 points
