It was a while ago since I did this, but I seem to remember that you could turn specific ones off, but that you could only choose from the list, and they didnt include the older version of wind sentence. I think they were all enabled by default.
-
Caveat with this - I tried on the ST2000, but the Zeus 0183 uses a different (incompatible) 0183 sentence for wind data to the raymarine gear, and so althought they both talked 0183, I could not get the AP to steer to wind without some kind of additional conversion.

I'm looking for someone with a Cat 30-50ft to take me sailing (not racing) for a day or two. I have experience on monos, but bugger all in a cat.. I've signed on to skipper a charter in Europe later this year in a Cat and need to do a bit of sailing and manoeuvring under power beforehand. Happy to pay my way... anyone got any suggestions?

yes, yesterday infact. have yet to use in anger but it works. there is approx 1 second delay from when you take your finger off the button till the winch stops, so takes some getting used to.

Thanks PeteG, Ive since found someone makes another version with the flange at 30degrees; see here https://www.melloronline.co.uk/Heater_Installation_Accessories_/4674/24mm_Stainless_Steel_Exhaust_Skin_Fitting_(Straight-Short).html this one would still need some pipe welding on it to give it an upward angle. Or should I just try find someone to custom build instead of modifying this?

I could take the large. but im overseas for a week or two. duty free appletons is a bargin

I'm in the process of installing an Eberspacher / webasto diesel heater. I'm stuck on where / how to mount the exhaust through hull; looks like this. The angle is meant to point up. I have a Beale 33. the obvious spot on the transom to put this is on an angle; such that when you place the exhaust on the angle, the piece that is meant to angle up is now almost horizontal. This means that any water ingress would sit in the exhaust piping, not the nice stainless bit. They provide a manual here which details some of how to mount it, but not any permissible angles or anything.
