I think it's a great idea. There's 10-12 mussel and fanworm farms near my boat that could do with this treatment. AC should get one for the river - treat a boat every 6 months and bill the mooring owner. Three goes in a row and your license gets cancelled

Watching the old GBE forebeam use to always scare me when beating upwind in a blow and chop. Doing the same yesterday in the T made me very pleased about the size of the forebeam - very very stiff. Now I just need a bum clean and some decent sails to really make her hum upwind.

That's a shame - she's a great boat and Pete did an awesome job. She's sailed to the islands twice and been round Aussie

It's been a long time since I looked at this as it no longer interests me, but my recollection was that the original study demonstrated the need to maintain flow through the western entrance and that they were going to do that with a series of culverts or bridge the entrance rather than fill it in. Perhaps someone can dig up the Masterplan studies.

I'm impressed at just how good thru ventilation works on the T. I wish now that I had put dorades in at the bow as the forward bunks are the only areas that I have even a remote problem.
