I gave up that moolarky ages ago. Unless it's unreasonably expensive, I found the Singapore Air connections well worth the extra couple of hundred bucks. Sometimes it's even one of the cheapest options.

Heathrow to AKL - 26h flytime (singapore and airNZ)

Zurich to AKL -24.40h flytime (Singpor and AirNZ)

Ice north of Auckland?

On the way over we hsda day in Dubai. Much more civilized. I thought on the way back I'd go straight through as i was travelling solo. Mistake. Our daughter went via Seoul. 2x12 hrs and the airline picked up the hotel as they dont offer a direct flight.

Started powering up systems to check they work. So far so good.

Powered up all the lights and Awesommmmmmmeeeeee........

The blue in the dunny is screaming for a smoke machine and maybe a small disco ball :)

Big Ups to Hella for their excellent NZ made product.... which I have pointy end to blunt end but not top to bottom, the top is crowned with a Optolight tricolour strobing sexy beast, the only not Hella light on the entire boat. Hella mastheads are good but the Optolight is just a step ahead.

Note: after powering the Optolight I can assure you it is easier to look at someone welding than it is to have the Opto strobing a mt from your face, that did physically hurt. Watch for that if you value your eyesite.

Told you KM, they are the best masthead light I've ever seen. :-)

So it's not to stop your crew shooting up?

There is a lot less lumen output from blue than there is from white.

It is a safety colour, I have an incredibly ugly crew.
