The Mercs are beconing but it was lamb leg roast at home with a good bottle of Merlot. Oh, and a few beers while i was cooking it. Boat still attached to the marina.

Traveled from Auckland to Picton years ago to look at a boat that looked the bees knees on trademe and was assured by the broker it was in good condition. Turned out to be a piece of sh...t. They knew we were coming down and the boat was a tip. Dirty dishes in the galley, engine was a pile of rust and topsides in a sad state. Mrs Chariot gave the broker a real spray for wasting our time and money and on that note we walked away.

Why would you have an EWOF if you only have 12v system.

Not a lot of boats have sold for a while now. It has been a buyers market for some time now.

The Lotus 9.2 isn't a race horse but they are not a pig that has to be motored everywhere. Well balanced and easy to sail and very good cruiser. They 9.5 is similar but a little more tender. Have owned a 9.2 for 10 years and have no regrets.

Know the boat. Probably the tidiest 1050 in the country. Grant was an very fastidious owner. You have an excellent boat there.

Looks a bit like us on the Coromandel may get some much needed rain and yes a fair bit of wind if it tracks how metvuw predicts.

Next weeks weather pattern is definitely not looking like S/W. East coast looks like it will take a bit of a battering. I think Puff will end up with a bit of salt spray on his windows.

What has happened to Motoboat today. Do they have a problem. Speed seems to be down compared to other boats around them.

Had a pod of dolphins hearding bait fish into the shallows on Sunday night at Peachgrove Bay. Great to watch, especially in such spectacular surroundings.

Anything less than 50% why would you bother.

The problem with speed restrictions is that in strong winds some boats require a little more speed to maintain steerage. No doubt the camera wouldn't allow for that.

The sad part HT is that official is on 100k plus.
