You do realize that noise control cannot enter your property to measure the noise. It must be done from the road side.Did you ask to see his/her decibel reading machine??cannot go by ear alone. -

Twosail, why a trailer sailor??any particular reason. At that price you can find a perfectly good raven, reactor or tracker with change left over to make what ever improvements you want. as far as taking Farr 6000 to Gt Barrier no problem at all, like everything else weather dependent. All the toys you have mentioned are great till they pack up.learn to use a chart and compass first Just re read and you need to store at home?how often do you plan to use it?? rigging and de rigging every weekend becomes a pain and if launching westhaven and leaving trailer overnight becomes a cost. -
Boat owners are such an easy target, according to the ACT leader David Seymour,we are all "rich pricks" made that statement last April the 9th 2016 at fish symposium meeting I attended, will never forget that comment.

Ha Ha we have a 35 mile drifter sunday. Any way fan worm I have noticed,it will grow on new antifoul,we did it 6 weeks ago and can see it starting already, probably attached to silt on hull,Tamiki river, Another overlooked problem is the asian crab, type of paddle around nungaruu? and marsden pt,destroying shell fish beds. Nz cut its biosuruity budget about 6 yrs ago and now we are paying the price, remember the AK harbour bridge clipons??thats where the pacific oyster came in and has taken over our rock oyster/The fan worm may not be attractive or useful but do not think it will do much ha

fan worm is merely a filter and poses no risk Uses[edit]The European fan worm is able to bioaccumulate bacteria and has a profound effect on the marine bacterial environment. Microbes build up in the worm and are present at much higher concentrations in its tissues than in the surrounding water and this means the worm can be used as a bioindicator. It is efficient at filtering out Vibrio spp. bacteria that are pathogenic to fish and shellfish and can cause foodborne illness in man. It can also potentially be used for remediation of polluted water near sewage outlets.[6] en.wikipedia.org/w

depth sounder is a must. The last night sail I did was 4 weeks ago to north harbour ponui island.Thought we were far enough off the little island (the bay before)but when it read 2m new we were way to close,so changed course towards waiheke when it 6m knew we were safe. I drive at night on country roads and love it,but out on the water it seems darker,my night vision does not work.
