Motor sailing from Tutukaka to Whangarei we were joined by a pod of bottlenose dolphins, who followed us for about an hour. We were loving it watching their jumps and turns. That was, until one of them started banging on the rudder, and then I got worried, and hoped that they would leave us.

Has Rainbow II undergone another restoration? A new article in the latest BoatingNZ magazine hints at a new restoration, then only talks about the 2013/14 work. I have used normal antifouling on an Airmar paddlewheel. Didn't damage it.

Great idea to split the smallboat division! It used to be strictly 26 feet and under, but lately has included bigger and bigger boats making it pretty tough on the real smallboats, and a bit of a mismatch.
