ex Elly 243
Looks like Burling has learnt some match racing. ETNZ tacked on top of Britannia at least 5 times on the second beat. Unlike last time when the let the Italians back in the game.
waikiore 462
Ray Davies knows his way around a match race ....
darkside 65
Yep he's miles ahead of the others. Not sure why Ineos opened the door at the top mark, maybe they just missed lay line?

waikiore 462
Nice to see a race for a change but he who wins the start.........
funlovincriminal 212
Yeah that first one probably shouldn't have even been run? Second race was interesting, the only difference I can see is that when we win a start we extend for the entire race, whereas this morning the longer the race went the closer ETNZ got to having them. But as Ben said "The momentum's with us, boys" 😉

waikiore 462
Well if you feel the first race should have been collapsed -then you dont believe in this foiling class, it is one of the skills, and reminds me of the same thing happening last time down in the Tamaki straits , when ETNZ with the help of their on the water weather spotters reporting constantly to Clouds up on the hill managed to almost lap Prada. waikiore 462
Another challenge from the Royal Yacht Squadron , now who will pay the 'hosting fee' Middle East likely or UK?

Last I heard the UK is broke. Even the legendary Fastnet race now finishes in France cause Plymouth couldn't afford to host it. As in British yacht clubs with 'Royal' monikers hosting events in France cause of financial realities. I'm sure the Saudi's will have no problem funding an event at Jeddah for some more sports washing, but that brings some substantial moral questions into play. Ignoring the fact that region is highly likely to be in all out war by the time they get around to settling on a venue. 2
harrytom 689
Did I miss it or no interest in the cup. No parade or tour of NZ with cup after winning. Still happen or who gives a rats a#rse
