Black Panther 1,716
Not a boat, but I'm learning a lot and enjoying it http://www.thequestquotient2011.blogspot.co.nz/
MasterOfDisaster 0
Spent the Saturday polishing up the boat for the Sunday race. Unfortunately, the paint is starting to delaminate where the foam of the trailer ribs meet the hull, probably osmosis, given how the foam is almost always damp. Black Panther 1,716
You must be good at retrieving, I could never get it in the same place twice
Bradz 19
Spent the weekend getting up at Opua getting acquainted with my new love obsession. Purchased our first keeler last week and took possession on Friday. It's been most relaxing and exciting.

Bradz 19
Young 88, Mindbender Best part was having wifey say she has had a wonderful weekend, not think of work once! Furthermore she had never sailed prior to yesterday.

Island Time 1,286
Bradz, congrats, great first keeler!! With a partner that is keen, a lifetime of sailing is possible. Don't let her go!
B00B00 320
Went Caving, Abseiling (yes even me...) Rope Bridging and Rock climbing with my 2 older boys (4 and 6) at Waipu caves. It was an epic weekend. Damn cold in the tent overnight though! Anyone wanting a cool caving experience that's totally free let me know and I will fill you in on the details. Its only 1.5hrs drive from Auckland and family friendly (if you don't mind a bit of mud!). My 4 year old LOVED it.
Steve Pope 253
been there forever!! there used to be and maybe still is a local guide, George Fisky, interesting thing is he is blind, cave, dark, no light needed.
funlovincriminal 197
After much stalling I finally got my hands on the new toy. Dad's Hiab truck and my bosses big alloy trailer from his Southern Fizz boat and a few willing hands and the process actually went pretty smoothly! She has been out of the water for 20 years, and is pretty much a new boat looking forward to a fresh start on life
Battleship 100
What is it?
Battleship 100
Started on the weekend but now soaking up my week. If you look closely you'll see a nice piece of tapered carbon tube.
funlovincriminal 197
What is it? It's a modified Ross 830 with a retractable bulb fin keel. Hoping to splash around Labor Weekend all things going well!
Changed 10
Familiar looking gennie Willow, X MB? X Carbon
Battleship 100
Yep, the funny coincidence is that the fractional genny that was on the boat when it came from Nelson is also off carbon, what are the chances of the 2 sails ending up together back in Tauranga. We'll be easy to spot if nothing else
